As dumb as it sonds, I bought an IPod and downloaded about 190+ songs on ITunes to my old laptop that does not have a cd burner. Does anyone know how I can get the songs to my new laptop (I purchased after I bought my IPod)? I tired connecting my IPod to my new computer and it did’t work. Since the laptop is old I fear I cannot download anymore songs to it. Have I lost those songs forever? Thanks in advanced!
A friends child is struggling to cope with many aspects of life but is showing great abilities with computers. May be learning a computer language would be beneficial. What would be a good starting language and are there any teaching methods that would be suitable to the situation.
My back light works fine while my laptop computer is starting up but turns off before I’m fully booted up and nothing I do can get it to come back on. Everything else works fine but without my back light the screen is difficult to see in the daylight. I have a Gateway laptop about 3 years old with Vista software. Can anyone help me?
okay so i have to carry my laptop to scool to record lectures (teachings) but i don’t won’t anyone to know i have it with me. so i ma going to leave it in my laptop bag vertically (up down) positioned while having the sound recorder on.

My laptop has wifi but Im only picking a couple locked networks from neighbors. I’ve been told that I don’t have wireless internet here at the house so my laptop wont pick it up. I use an embarq router. Is there anyway i can get my laptop to connect to the embarq network here at my house?
I have 3 onkyo speakers and a 2.1 computer speaker set. I am planning on buying a 5.1 receiver. Would i be able to use the 3 real speakers for front left front right and center, then use the computer speakers for the rear? I’m assuming i would have to cut the cable on the computer speakers to make them connectible. Is this correct? Thanks.

Was typing a message to a friend on myspace and all of a sudden the computer started working very slowly-I tried restarting the computer and when it came back on, there was a blinking question mark folder in the center of the page. So laptops don’t need voltage converters, but lots of mp3 players do. If I have my laptop charged into a 240 volt European outlet, is it safe to charge my mp3 player, via USB cable, off the laptop? Thank you!
