My laptop batteries are going down by 1% each day, what should I do?
My DELL laptop is relatively new, maybe 4 years old. I don’t think there is a virus or spyware on it, because I already did checks multipe times, and each time, the laptop comes out clean. However, each day the batteries decrease by 1%. Like the 1st day, the batteries would be 95%, and the next day it would be 94% and so on. I’m not unplugging the laptop, so I don’t know what’s going on. Can someone please help me? Thanks!

That’s not new hahahaha, that’s OLD. Your batteries are lucky to be still working.
It takes power to boot up your laptop, so maybe its decreasing like so. But if your full battery capacity is decreasing each time you charge it fully. Then something might be wrong.
Laptop batteries die..just like any rechargable battery..
You’re lucky it’s lasted THIS long, actually..
Start shopping.
Edit – I wouldn’t keep the next one plugged in constantly, though..just a tip.
First of all, battery life has nothing to do with viruses or spyware. It has everything to do with the way you treat your battery. For a 4 year old laptop, thats is still charging 95%, you did a good job taking care of it. : ) It is normal for you computer to be decreasing in battery life. This is your battery degrading or in other words "wear and tear". The only solution to this is to buy a battery for your laptop if it worries you much. If you have any question feel free to email.
