My Laptop Keyboard types different letters then the one its suppose to.How do i fix it?

My laptop keyboard types different keys then its suppose to. Like if you type K itll type 2 if you type J it will type 1 but the numbers are the same when you type them. How do i fix this?

You’ve probably pressed the Num lock key. Press it again and that should do it. =)
This is probably a very old virus, called the ansi virus. Run an anti-virus software and see if that fixes it. Another option is that the ansi file could be corrupt. Just so that we are clear, the num lock key will not do this.
It can either be one of two things:
1) Keyboard is physically damaged or
2) you have some type of malware (ie. virus) messing around with what you type.
The solution to the first problem is relatively simple. Just go to your manufacturer’s website, order a new keyboard, and replace. Replacing your laptop keyboard is probably the most simple thing you will do with a piece of technology (you just need a few proper screwdrivers, and instructions from a comparable website).
The solution to the second problem is to run a scan with your virus protection. If you do not have any, I recommend downloading the free and highly acclaimed "AVG anti virus". and running a full scan.
