laptop???????????????????????

i want to get a dell laptop, about how big is a 17" laptop,

My Dell laptop beeps randomly every 20 mins or so. The beeping noise the the same beep you hear when you plug/unplug a USB cable. I dont have any USB devices plugged in, so it cant be a loose cord. Anyone have any idea on how to stop this?

Alternatively, is there any way to disable the windows sound of when usb device is plugged unplugged?

Thanks

How do you get Internet on a dell laptop?

I have a dell laptop and want to get bell south internet on it. I have bell south on the family computer.

My DELL laptop is relatively new, maybe 4 years old. I don’t think there is a virus or spyware on it, because I already did checks multipe times, and each time, the laptop comes out clean. However, each day the batteries decrease by 1%. Like the 1st day, the batteries would be 95%, and the next day it would be 94% and so on. I’m not unplugging the laptop, so I don’t know what’s going on. Can someone please help me? Thanks!

I’m planning on getting myself a laptop.

Does a 2GB Dell laptop hold up to 2,000 documents or more.

I’m intrested in knowing before i spend money on something that can hold more than thousands of data

I’ve had a dell laptop for nearly 2 years (will be 2 this january). The battery started to crap out this summer, drastically having its life reduced. Now, when I unplug it, I’m lucky if it lasts a half hour before completely going dead. Originally lasted like 3 hours. I’ve since heard that letting your battery run out at least once a month is good for it; will doing so prevent such reduction in life in the future? Anything else I can do to preserve a laptop battery’s life?
