My daughter is going to college and she just bought 18.4 laptop and we want a cute carrying case/bag for it. We have looked but can’t seem to find many!
I am planning on going to college and majoring in chemical engineering. With that obviously comes the task of buying a laptop. I really enjoy Macs and I have semi-adjusted to their different programs because my brother has one. I do however cringe a little bit at the prices. But I am really just wondering what kind of specs the laptop should meet and if you prefer a Mac vs a PC (for chemical engineering).
The website, would have members, host audio and video files, make transactions, and probably more. Basically I want to learn how to construct a professional website in my garage, all the setups required, all knowledge that needs to be learned ect…. Where is a good place to start? I am already learning HTML and purchased Dreamweaver. I think I’m going to need to learn some computer programming languages as well. What are the popular programming languages that create small software applications for the web?? What knowledge needs to be learned to start up a computer server in your garage?? Please don’t respond with going to college and getting a degree, I know there is plenty of information on the internet and in books for the knowledge to be learned
i need to buy a new laptop but i dont know what the best one would be for my specifications. i really only need it for basic stuff like pictures and music, but i need to store a lot of both. i also watch movies/tv shows online. and since i am going to college i need a computer with long battery life so that i can bring it to classes.
what computer brand/model would you recommend for someone like me, i really dont know much about computers so any recommendations are appreciated.

Ok! I want to buy a laptop for my sister as a graduation gift and I choose Dell. She’s going to college, she likes editing & designing pictures in adobe photoshop, she like’s music, movies & etc. And i guess she likes microsoft word, excel , powerpoint & etc.
I want to buy it online. So now, what is the best laptop like for example the speed, RAM, hard drive etc. etc. that I can get or how should I tell the store what I want?
I’m not really good in choosing computers that’s why I need some good advice from the experts.

I am going to college this fall (leaving in 1 week!) and I will be buying a new laptop for college. What laptop is best? I am particularly looking for one with a lot of memory, good wireless internet and (hopefully) less than ,000.
The ,000 price range is flexible but not by much.
