I want to buy a macbook and use it as an everyday computer to travel with. I need it to hold all of my music, photos, and videos. Also i need it to run parallels and Microsoft word. Which one should i get, one of the white ones or the black one?

I’m studying for my bachelors degree in computer science, and I might continue on to get a masters degree. I have my A+ and Network+ certifications, and I’m planning on getting Linux, Network Security, and the Microsoft certifications.

Can I get a job doing computer forensics with this? If not, what should I do to increase my chances of getting a computer forensics job?

Basically I have an Windows XP, and i’m running out of space on my computer. The only things i need to keep are my music from iTunes, which are saved in random locations, some pictures that are also scattered throughout, and anything that’s required to open files, and of course the microsoft office programs. Also, i have sever users on the computer which i can delete, but i’m afraid my music’s file location is on one of the other user’s account, which i’m afraid to delete.

I have a Dell computer running Microsoft Vista that’s about a year old. I wish to erase the hard drive and put the original software back on it. I have four cds that came with the computer. One with the operating system, another with application software, and two with drivers and utilities. I’ve gone to computers and tried formating the hard drive, and it won’t let me. What do I need to do?

Ok! I want to buy a laptop for my sister as a graduation gift and I choose Dell. She’s going to college, she likes editing & designing pictures in adobe photoshop, she like’s music, movies & etc. And i guess she likes microsoft word, excel , powerpoint & etc.

I want to buy it online. So now, what is the best laptop like for example the speed, RAM, hard drive etc. etc. that I can get or how should I tell the store what I want?

I’m not really good in choosing computers that’s why I need some good advice from the experts.

I want a simple travel laptop. I have a desktop, so the laptop duznt need to b big, loaded with features, or purpose specific necessarily. Xcept to travel. I want to shop online preferably.

I dont need a large harddrive bcuz I plan on using memory sticks and pocket harddirves for large files, but I atleast want 180G’s just incase. I want a decent graphics card for movies and some games from online. I wont plan “PC” games on it tho.
