Computer “repair” the redneck (fun) way. Since I fixed my computer I have had no problems with it. Life is more pleasant now that my Dell computer no longer gives me any problems. After fixing my laptop I tried donating it to charity but they didn’t want it for some reason, so I ended up taking it to the recycling center. Before I fixed it I removed the battery so as to not contaminate the environment because that is the kind of guy I am, always looking out for our environment. It only took me 6 rounds of 00 Buckshot to fix it, unless you count the one that I missed that went high and a little to the left, then it would be 7 rounds. I probably could have fixed it with 5 rounds but I wanted to make sure that I fixed it right. My Dad always told me that if you’re going to do something, do it right. -jbranstetterRedneck04

laptop!?!?!?!?!?!?

okay my friend doesn’t have an account and she wants me to ask for her so here goes:

she really wants a laptop.
She really into gaming and downloading music. she makes a lot of videos and takes a hell of a lot of pictures. She’s a serious tech geek. I’m not exagerating.

So, what would be the best laptop for her?
please help!
oh, and i should really express the gaming aspect.
games are important.
she requests at least 1gb of memory.

Laptop….?

I did a system restore whatever they are on my laptop and defrag and everything and after when I went to listen to some music…my laptop doesn’t have sound anymore! And the desktop thing for my internet explorer has gone and isn’t anywhere on my laptop…do I have to download it again or what?! I have no idea what I’ve done! Cause I never told it to delete them things!

Thanks

Within the past couple of weeks my laptop has refused to play sound on any websites, like youtube, myspace, facebook, anything with sound. I have my laptop volume turned up and the websites volume turned up yet nothing happens. I can play music on iTunes and hear it but anything on any website won’t play.

Should I just remove itunes then reinstall it starting all over again. Because I can. Everytime I plug in my ipod my computer crashes down on me and there is no more music in my ipod so I get frustrated. Is what I am doing going to help my computer from stop crashing down all the time?

Basically I have an Windows XP, and i’m running out of space on my computer. The only things i need to keep are my music from iTunes, which are saved in random locations, some pictures that are also scattered throughout, and anything that’s required to open files, and of course the microsoft office programs. Also, i have sever users on the computer which i can delete, but i’m afraid my music’s file location is on one of the other user’s account, which i’m afraid to delete.

Any help!

Thanks.

By no lag I mean as in any lag that’s not to do with connection like FPS lag. I’d also want things like music on this laptop. My price range is really £400 tops. If people could post some links would be much appreciated.

I’m in high school and I need something I can load 40 GB of music on and around 20 GB of pictures and still have a smooth reliable computer to do schoolwork and have streaming video.
So what’s the best laptop out there for under or around ,000?

Also, I’m not a huge fan of Macs, so would Vista work for me?

I want to transfer the music on my iPod to another computer, but when I click "transfer music" it says I need to go on to the store and click authorize computer from the menu. When I go on to the store and menu I can’t find anything that says "authorize computer." I am logged into my account already too.

I can’t decide if i should buy a cheap mini laptop/net book or a regular laptop. I usually just surf the web, but need to store music and photos in it. Is there a big difference between regular laptop and mini laptop?
